500 Yard Freestyle Women:

Lindsey Clary of Ohio State University took off on the last 50 to pass Brooke Zieger of Minnesota for the win in 4:39.33 to 4:39.55.Stephanie Marchuk of Indiana finished 3rd in 4:41.53.

500 Yard Freestyle Men:

Marwan El Kamash of Indiana University raced to victory by nearly a 5 second margin with a 4:13.44, besting Max Irwin, also of Indiana, and Jordan Merrilees or North Carolina, who finished in 4:18.51 and 4:19.04 respectively.

200 Yard Individual Medley Women:

Melanie Margalis stormed back from for post-Olympic sabbatical with a Winter Nationals Record and winning time of 1:53.16. Finishing second was Meg Bailey of Ohio State University in 1:57.81 and in 3rd Miranda Tucker of Club Wolverine in 1:58.00.

200 Yard Individual Medley Men:

Vini Lanza of Indiana University led from the break winning in 1:43.57, over a second in front of the 2nd place finisher Nate Carr and 3rd place finisher Omar Pinzon, who touched in 1:45.01 and 1:45.87, respectively. 

50 Yard Freestyle Women:

Amanda Weir bested the field with a 21.81, a very fast time for the 3-time Olympian. North Carolina's Caroline Baldwin finished second in 22.33, followed by Isabella Arcilla of Canyons Aquatic Club in 22.40.

50 Yard Freestyle Men:

University of Minnesota's Bowen Becker led the way in 19.67, followed closely by Jacob Molacek of Greater Omaha Aquatics in 19.69 and Sam Lorentz of Indiana University in 19.70. Of note, Tom Shields, who qualified first in prelims, decided to swim Butterfly, finishing in an incredibly fast 20.10.
