San Diego State University head coach Mike Shrader spoke with FloSwimming at the 2017 A3 Performance Invitational about his team's preparation heading into the meet, his thoughts on coaching a single-gender program, and much more.

Shrader has been the head man in San Diego for a decade now and has led the Aztecs to seven consecutive top-three finishes at the Mountain West Conference Championships. On top of that, he has produced 13 All-Americans in the past four years. Not too shabby, coach.
