This man is the real deal. How many 57 year-olds do you know that will hop up on the block against teenagers and college swimmers -- and beat them? Answer: not many, if any at all.

Guthrie finished in 31st place Friday night at the 2017 Speedo Southern Zone LC Sectional Championships with a 2:33.91 -- not too shabby. Guthrie noted in the interview above that while the time wasn't great to him, he was happy to swim two 2:33 200m breaststrokes in the same day.

Check out the full interview above to hear all of Guthrie's thoughts and reactions.
