Ashlyn Fiorilli -- 16 year-old from Texas Ford Aquatics -- will have the opportunity of a lifetime next month.

Based on her 2:12.19 in the 200m butterfly from the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championship Trials last week in Indianapolis, Fiorilli has qualified to represent Team USA next month (August 23-28) at the 2017 FINA Junior World Championships -- also in Indianapolis -- side by side the best junior-level swimmers in the world.

She continued her streak of success Thursday night in Austin by taking home the win in the 200m butterfly at the Southern Zone Sectional Championships with a 2:14.66 -- about 2.5 seconds off her time from Indy, but still a great swim nonetheless.

We caught up with Fiorilli right after her race where she talked about the swim and what it means to represent Team USA for the first time.
