Tonner DeBeer Relives 200 Medley Relay National High School Record, Talks Future

DeBeer Relives National High School Record

FloSwimming caught up with Tonner DeBeer (Triton Swimming) at the Pilot Flying J Classic in Knoxville, TN. DeBeer relived setting the National Independent High School Record in the 200 Medley Relay last February at the Kentucky High School State Championships.

DeBeer joined her Sacred Heart Academy teammates Kennedy Lohman (University of Arizona), Asia Seidt (University of Kentucky), and Brooke Bauer (University of North Carolina) to take down the old mark of 1:40.73 set by Carondelet High School in 2011 with a time of 1:40.61. Their splits are as follows:

DeBeer - 25.76
Lohman - 27.97
Seidt - 24.07
Bauer - 22.81
Total - 1:40.61
