WATCH: Caeleb Dressel Drops 17.63 50 Freestyle
Caeleb Dressel shattered him own records in the 50 freestyle and took down the 18 second barrier at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Minnesota.
Caeleb Dressel just shocked the entire swimming world.
The University of Florida senior broke the 18-second barrier twice in the same night at the NCAA Championships on Thursday in Minneapolis, setting a new American record in the 50-yard freestyle in the process.
After leading off the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 17.81, he then followed that up by breaking his previous American and NCAA record time in the 50 free with the 17.63 performance seen below.
