Ohio State Invite | Asia Seidt Crushes 1:53.84 200 IM

The opening night in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio State Invitational featured a smashing 200 IM from Kentucky's Asia Seidt. Crushing the NCAA A-standard, Seidt won with a 1:53.84.

Seidt also split a 50.99 swimming butterfly on the Wildcats 3:32.31, winning 400 Medley Relay that included teammates Bridgette Alexander, Bailey Bonnett, and Geena Freriks. NC State picked up the win in the 200 Free Relay with a 1:28.52. Both relays achieved the A-standard.

For the men, the 500 Free was the race of the night. NC State's Anton Ipsen, Kentucky's Isaac Jones, and Notre Dame's Zach Yeadon all swam under the 4:15 mark. Ipsen won in a 4:13.19.

NC State's Ryan Held won the 50 Free with a 19.06, missing the A-standard by 0.01.

The Wolfpack men won both relays with A-standard swims. The 200 Free Relay, which included another 19.06 swim from Held, finished with a 1:15.83. NC State recorded a 1-2-3 finish in the 400 Medley Relay with the winning team of Coleman Stewart, Jacob Molacek, Held, and Justin Ress in 3:07.04.
