2017 ISCA Summer Sr. Championships

August 2-5, 2017
St. Petersburg, Florida
North Shore Aquatic Center

The Virginia Gators dominated last year's ISCA Summer Senior Championships in the combined team standings -- winning the title by a 962.5-point margin over second-place Schenectady-Saratoga Swim Club, which finished with 653.5 points.

Led by a crew of 16-and-under all-stars in Emma Muzzy, Caroline Kulp, Whittney Hamilton, Keith Myburgh, Greg Reed, and Noah Bowers, the Virginia Gators put up a slew of incredible performances. As a matter of fact, the aforementioned list of names practically swept the overall individual point rankings as well. Check out the top five from the 16&U women and men below.

16&U Women
1.) Emma Muzzy (15), Virginia Gators -- 70 points
2.) Caroline Kulp (15), Virginia Gators -- 56 points
3.) Bridget Semenuk (15), Chelsea Piers Aquatic Club -- 54 points
4.) Whittney Hamilton (15), Virginia Gators -- 51 points
5.) Kelly Montesi (15), Chelsea Piers Aquatic Club -- 45 points

16&U Men
1.) Keith Myburgh (16), Virginia Gators -- 71 points
2.) Greg Reed (16), Virginia Gators -- 57 points
3.) Noah Bowers (15), Virginia Gators -- 56 points
4.) Zachary Zwijacz (16), Schenectady-Saratoga Swim Club -- 53.5 points
5.) Ricardo Martinez (16), Clearwater Aquatic Team -- 44 points

After what we saw from the Virginia Gators 15-16 girls at the 2017 ISCA Jr. National Championship Cup back in March -- breaking not one, not two, not three, but four National Age Group records in the short course yards 200/400 freestyle relay and 200/400 medley relay -- this team is poised for a big summer championship meet as well.
