Ladies and gentleman, he's officially back. While Ryan Lochte competed in the Masters Nationals back in April, he will be making his official return to USA Swimming sanctioned competition at the 2017 Los Angeles Invitational this weekend.

Lochte had previously been serving a 10 month suspension from the infamous gas station incident following the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. His suspension officially ended on July 1.

Lochte is currently slated to swim the 100m freestyle on Friday, 50m freestyle on Saturday, and 200m IM on Sunday.

Of note, 2016 Olympian Tom Shields is also entered in the meet and is scheduled to only swim the 100m butterfly on Sunday. Shields just missed making the 2017 World Championship team in the 100m butterfly by finishing fourth (51.55) at the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis less than two weeks ago.
