Eddie Hall Broke The World Record for the Axle Press at Europe's Strongest Man, but what is even more interesting for us is that he used to be a national champion swimmer.

Eddie Hall, who just competed on FloElite in Europe's Strongest Man, has been featured on FloSwimming before. We uncovered a video of "The Beast" sprinting a 25 freestyle at 400+ lbs in what seemed to be under 15 seconds. This feat had the FloSwimming crew beyond intrigued, so we decided to do some research on the guy. As it turns out, Eddie used to be a rather decorated age grouper racking up national age group golds in the 50, 100, 400, and 1500 Freestyle at the age of 13.

The swimmer turned strongman just broke the world record for the axle press at Europe's Strongest Man with a whopping 216kg/476lb lift that can be seen below.

Rumor has it, Eddie can still drop a 29 second 50m freestyle from a push, but we're still waiting on that video to surface...
