Time Capsule Tuesday? Throwback Tuesday? Turn back time Tuesday? No Jon Bon Jovi though. DirecTV beat us to that, but that's neither here nor there. This is a Kill Bill-esque resurgence.

It feels like eons ago - a time where we were first introduced to the iPhone, and at some time or another either Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, or Paris Hilton were in trouble with the law. Well, welcome back Britney... and welcome back FloSwimming.

FloSwimming, a pioneer several years ago in the www-related content of swimming is back. Before swimswam and way before NOTswimswam, FloSwimming fed us all the swimming content we could handle. Race videos. Training videos. Passionate commentary. Candid interviews. They showed a relatable side to swimming that wasn't just summarized Hy-Tek results. Ahem SwimmingWorld. And swiminfo dot com? Couldn't even spring for a similar domain name?

Anyways, for us aqua-thusiasts it was slim pickens until FloSwimming came along. Countless hours spent in between workouts watching featured workouts, interviews, races, and Auburn slug a billion Gatorades.

At times it felt like mumblecore, but it was real. Pleasantly authentic. And guess what? There was gallons upon gallons of demand for it.

Enough to fill every lane-line infused pool across the world. The untimely death of FloSwimming was felt far across the swimming world. The vacuum paved the way for SwimSwam, and to which we all feel the gilded butterfly, Mel Stewart has done an incredible job with. Kudos to you Gold Medal Mel.

When it comes to the sharing of information, ideas, but also reinforcing the passionate and caring community that is swimming, we want to give this family more of what it wants. Now you will be able to find more swimming news, results, original content, anything swimming really, delivered to your twitter feed, Facebook newsfeed and homepage. So in our best Uma Thurman, we just punched through the coffin, emerged out from six feet deep (safe starting block depth), and wave a friendly hello to you.

Pai Mei approves.
