The 2026 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Swimming & Diving Championships are officially underway and will run through Saturday, February 28, at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.

Day 1 Results — Opening Performances
The first night of competition gave us plenty of highlights as teams jockeyed for early positioning on both the men’s and women’s sides.

Women’s Team Standings (After Day 1)
- William & Mary – 120 points

The night kicked off with blazing times and records. UNCW’s women’s 200-yard medley relay team broke the CAA all-time and meet record with a 1:37.83 performance, edging out William & Mary. The Tribe was close behind, also surpassing the previous league mark.
On the men’s side, Drexel captured the 200-yard medley relay, their first since 2016, with UNCW and Towson right on their heels.
In diving, Towson’s Sam Tennell took gold in the men’s 1-meter dive with a strong 319.55 score.
William & Mary’s women dominated the 800-yard freestyle relay, earning gold and setting the tone for a competitive championship weekend.
