A little over one week from postseason tournaments, the NCAA Division I men’s soccer rankings are alive with switch-ups.

The top three teams have been turned on their head as previous No. 2 Bryant University lost 1-2 to Vermont. With the loss, Bryant dropped to No. 7, while Maryland swooped in to take the Bulldogs’ place. Stanford holds strong at No. 1. Vermont was rewarded for their victory with the No. 3 spot to round out the top three.

Maryland, already boasting an undefeated season, had a ranked triumph of their own with a win over Indiana — sending the Hoosiers down three places to No. 17.

Virginia is also making moves up the table after a 4–0 shutout over Clemson on their home field in Charlottesville, Va.

There are several new additions to the list, notably Furman, who jumped from unranked to No. 16 after beating UNC Greensboro, then No. 18, now No. 23, and improving their record to 11-1-4.

No. 21 Seton Hall, No. 24 Cornell, and No. 25 Hofstra also find their way onto the rankings table and hope to hold strong as the regular season nears its conclusion.
