Maryland Women's Basketball Bounces Back With Comeback Win Over Green Bay

Maryland WBB bounced back from a loss to Washington State with a comeback win over Green Bay WBB at the 2023 Cancun Challenge.

Maryland Women's Basketball fought back a challenge from Green Bay at the 2023 Women's Cancun Challenge on Nov. 24 as the Terps recovered from a loss to Washington State and improved to 1-1 in Mexico. 

Trailing 30-29,  Maryland (3-3) outscored the Phoenix (3-2) 39-29 to win its second game in Cancun 68-59.  

Shaynne Sellers scored 23 and Bri McDaniel added 19 for Maryland. Green Bay was led by Maddy Schreiber who scored 12 points. 

Maryland, which dropped from the AP Rankings for the first time in 13 years on Monday, lost 87-67 on Thanksgiving.
