In their final home meet of the season, the Louisville Cardinals welcome Atlantic Coast Conference rival Notre Dame at Ralph Wright Natatorium in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday for a Senior Day dual meet set to begin at 2 PM EST.​ The seventh-ranked Cardinals men's team is taking on the No. 22 Fighting Irish, while the No. 11 Louisville women square off against an unranked Notre Dame squad.

The host Cardinals are coming off an impressive dual-meet sweep of the Missouri Tigers on Jan. 6-7, when they threw down 13 NCAA B-cuts and swept all eight relays in the two-day meet. The Fighting Irish also have the hot hand after coming off a successful weekend when they toppled Big Ten foes Iowa, Illinois (women only), and Northwestern.

"I'm looking for our team to simply match up and compete," Notre Dame coach Mike Litzinger said. "If we do that, we will be in great shape and in a position that'll lead us to greater success at the ACC Championships. ... Louisville is without a doubt the best team we will see on our schedule. They're well-coached, experienced and at the top of their game."
