Preview: 2016 Short Course Winter Nationals
The 2016 AT&T Winter Nationals start Wednesday, and there is a lot to look forward to in Atlanta. A young but star-studded field is prepared to put on a show over the next four days, including sprinter sensation Caeleb Dressel and four other members of the 2016 Team USA Olympic Team.

Dressel, who is enterted in the 50 freestyle, 100 free, 200 free, 200 IM, and 100 breaststroke, is the top seed in the 50 free by more than a second.

The American record holder is looking to get a bit closer to the 18.20 mark he set at last year's NCAAs as well as branch out to a few different events during this mid-year test. In additon to Dressel, Kevin Cordes is looking to dominate the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at this meet. Also watch for the Amercian record holder to challenge the 50-second barrier in the 100 breast. On the women's side, Breeja Larson is set to win both the 100 and 200 breast. Amanda Weir is entered in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 free as she comes off the Olympic year and expect to see some quick times from her this week.

Stay tuned to FloSwimming for updates during the meet.
