Nation's Capital Swim Club's Phoebe Bacon is an absolute stud. At the 2017 NCSA Summer Championships, Bacon -- at only 14 years-old -- threw down a very fast 1:00.81 in the 100m backstroke for a new meet record.

What is even more impressive? That is the third-fastest performance ever from a 13-14 girl in that event. You're probably wondering to yourself: "Wow, who stands in front of her?" The only other two girls who have been faster than Bacon are Missy Franklin at 1:00.50 and Regan Smith at 1:00.26. Franklin is a swimmer who needs no introduction and Smith is well on her way to that level as well. At the recent 2017 FINA World Championships, Smith represented Team USA in the final of the 200m backstroke -- placing 8th in a close field of the world's best with a time of 2:07.42.
