Swedish swimming star Sarah Sjöström was on fire at the 2017 Mare Nostrum. Over the course of nine days, she scared three different world records, but most closely on the final leg of the tour June 17-18 in Canet-en-Roussillon -- including Britta Steffen's 2009 world record of 23.73 in the 50m freestyle with a 23.85, her own 2016 mark of 55.48 in the 100m butterfly with a 55.76, and finally Cate Campbell's 2016 world record of 52.06 in the 100m freestyle with a 52.08.

By the time all is said and done at the 2017 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary -- Sjöström could realistically be the proud owner of four different world records (50-100m butterfly and 50-100m freestyle).
