FloSwimming caught up with South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh -- 2012 Olympic champion and former world record holder in the 100m breaststroke -- at the 2017 Mare Nostrum in Monaco Saturday night.
Van der Burgh talked about bridging the gap on Adam Peaty plus the things he has been experimenting with in training -- those that have been working and those he is still tinkering with. We also try to pry him into a little trash talk with Felipe Lima ahead of tomorrow's 50m breaststroke final four and, hopefully, final two.
