Eva Merrell: 'World Champ Trials Is My Focus'

Division II LIVE RESULTS

USA National Team member, ​Eva Merrell, ​talked with FloSwimming after her record-breaking performances at the 2017 CIF Southern Section Division II Swimming Championships on Saturday. Individually, Merrell put up two CIF-SS Div. 2 records in the 100 butterfly (52.51) and 100 backstroke (53.12). On relays, her Crean Lutheran squad broke CIF-SS Div. 2 records in the 200 medley relay (1:40.77) and 200 freestyle relay (1:34.60).​

To top it all off -- Crean Lutheran won the meet on the women's side with 247 points over Redlands East Valley with 233 points. Not too shabby of a day for Merrell and company.
