The Manaudou family is full of pretty good swimmers. Laure Manaudou is a three-time Olympic medalist from the 2004 Athens Olympics. Her career went through peaks and valleys after those Games, but she eventually came full circle at the 2012 London Olympic Games -- where she was competing -- when she got to watch her younger brother Florent Manaudou win gold in the 50m freestyle with a blazing time of 21.34.

How did Flo Manaudou prepare for Olympic glory? By swimming in the Mare Nostrum Tour. Check out the video below where Manaudou takes the 50m freestyle crown at the 2012 Mare Nostrum in Canet-en-Roussillon against some strong competition like Marcelo Chierighini, Brent Hayden, and Fabien Gilot.

More of the world's best swimmers -- including Katinka Hosszu, Chas le Clos, Penny Oleksiak, Mack Horton, Yulia Efimova, the list goes on and on -- will be at the 2017 Mare Nostrum to prepare for this summer's World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
