NCAA DI Women's Pre-Selection Psych Sheet Released
The NCAA has released the pre-selection psych sheet for the 2017 Division I NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. The meet, which is being held in Indianapolis, Indiana, will take place from March 15 - March 18.

While this psych sheet is not final in terms of who is officially invited to the meet, it does provide answers to some questions about swimmers that are on the fence of which events to enter. Most notably, Katie Ledecky of Stanford has decided to drop the 400 IM, an event she set the American Record in at Pac-12's last weekend, in favor of the 200 freestyle. It does not come as much of a surprise, but Ledecky will go for her expected line-up of the 500 free, 200 free, and 1650 free. By opting out of the 400 IM, she opens the door for her Stanford teammate, and defending NCAA Champion, Ella Eastin to take the top seed.

Also of note, and with consequence in the team race, Sarah Gibson of Texas A&M has decided to drop the 500 free, an event she won at SEC's, in favor of picking up an additional Aggie relay.

We will offer much more insight once the official psych sheet is posted, likely on Wednesday. But for now, check out the pre-selection psych sheet below and keep in mind 39-40 women are typically invited in each individual event.
