​Zane Grothe ​just unloaded the 10th fastest 1650 freestyle of all time ​at the 2017 Senior Metropolitan Winter Championships in Long Island, NY with a 14:29.05.

Grothe, a 2014 graduate from Auburn University, represents Badger Swim Club, but trains at Indiana University with Head Coach ​Ray Looze.​ Looze posted the photo below of the scoreboard after Grothe's race on his Instagram account earlier today.
