Auburn, Florida Clash On Tigers' Senior Day
Auburn coach Brett Hawke and the Tigers are set to welcome Florida coach Gregg Troy and the Gators in a Southeastern Conference clash of nationally ranked powerhouses on Saturday. The dual meets between the No. 6 Auburn men's team and No. 10 Florida as well as the 11th-ranked Tigers women's team and the No. 20 Gators will serve as the final tune-up of the season for Auburn before heading into the SEC meet and championship season next month. The meet will also serve as Senior Day for the Tigers, who will honor 12 senior swimmers and divers prior to the competition.

"Florida is tough," Hawke said. "We do match up head-to-head very well. I think it will come down to the last few races. We love to race against them and I think every race will have some emotion involved."

5 Swimmers to Watch

Ashley Neidigh (Auburn)
The senior is coming off a blazing 9:41.98 in the 1,000-yard freestyle from last week's dual meet with Texas. Her time was just shy of the Auburn school record, and she aims to give it another shot on Saturday in her final time swimming at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center on Senior Day.
Julie Meynen (Auburn)
Meynen, the reigning SEC Swimmer of the Week and a star freshman from Luxembourg, will set her sights on taking the 50 and 100 freestyle crowns at her home pool. Having already put up a 22.56 and 48.33 in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, respectively, Meynen has a serious opportunity to make an impact on the Auburn relays at SECs and NCAAs.

Caeleb Dressel (Florida)
He's the fastest man in history in the 50-yard freestyle (18.20), and the fastest man in history in the 100 freestyle (40.46) -- a 2016 U.S. Olympian and gold medalist in the 4x100m freestyle relay. Enough said.

Joseph Patching (Auburn)
The star senior can just about do it all. Patching specializes in the backstroke events with times this season of 47.11 in the 100 and 1:42.50 in the 200. Look for Patching to make some noise in the IM events as well.

Jan Switkowski (Florida)
The 2016 Polish Olympian is primarily known for his bronze medal in the 200m butterfly (1:54.10) at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia. While Switkowski was unable to repeat his stellar performance in Rio, failing to qualify for the final, he is getting back to top form quickly this college season for Florida. Having already logged a 1:43.42 this season in his speciality event (200 butterfly), he has expanded into the IM events as well, throwing down a quick 1:44.04 in the 200 and 3:44.45 in the 400. You can bet he will be a major player at SECs and NCAAs.
