Ryan Lochte had a tumultuous ending to his 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. After an internationally publicized incident involving lying to the media about details surrounding vandalism and a run-in with Brazilian police, Lochte is looking to move forward and find a fresh start.

Earlier this year in October, Lochte announced he was engaged to Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid. Just two short months later in December, the couple announced they were expecting a child together, which he revealed to be a boy this week. Now, in a new development, Lochte has officially partnered with PowerBar and was featured in the commercial below promoting its new Clean Whey Protein Bar.

Hopefully, 2017 will be the fresh start Lochte is looking for.
