The fresh face of swimming in the United States pulled in another big honor Saturday night.

Katie Ledecky was named USA Swimming athlete of the year for a record fourth consecutive year at a ceremony at the United States Aquatic Sports Convention in downtown Atlanta. Ledecky, with her historic Olympics performance, topped the likes of Michael Phelps and others.

Ledecky, just 19 years old, won the 200, 400 and 800-meter freestyles this summer in Rio, becoming the first swimmer to do that since Debbie Mayer in 1968. She was also honored Saturday with the Phillips 66 Performance Award for her world-record setting mark in the 800 free.

In total, Ledecky came home with four gold medals and one silver. The fourth gold was as the anchor leg of the 4x200 freestyle relay. The silver came in the 4x100 free relay.

The Washington, D.C., native was not the only one honored Saturday night. Travis Tygart, the CEO of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), was given the USA Swimming Award for his efforts in cleaning up the sport. The USA Swimming Award is the most prestigious one given out at the annual ceremony.

Dave Durden, coach at the University of California at Berkeley, was given the American Swimming Coaches Association Coach of the Year honor. Durden helped place Nathan Adrian, Ryan Murphy, Jacob Pebley, Josh Prenot and Tom Shields on the United States Olympic team and also helped Anthony Ervin got on his third Olympic squad. Those swimmers accumulated six medals in Rio, three gold. Adrian, Murphy and Shields won relay gold this summer.
