Australian swimmer Mitch Larkin -- silver medalist in the 200m backstroke at the 2016 Olympic Games & double gold medalist in the 100-200m backstroke events at the 2015 World Championships -- put up some solid performances throughout the 2017 Mare Nostrum tour.

Larkin ended up taking third in the final standings after all three legs, earning a nice bonus paycheck of 1,000 euros (not including his winnings from individual races). South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh took home the top spot on the tour -- earning an additional 7,000 euros on top of his winnings from individual races.

We caught up with Larkin after the final session in Canet-en-Roussillon Sunday to talk post-Olympic year training and mindset, switching coaches to Simon Cusack (also coaches Cate and Bronte Campbell), and looking ahead to the 2017 FINA World Championships.
