Star Brazilian sprinter Bruno Fratus is poised for great things this summer at the 2017 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Fratus, who finished tied for sixth in the final of the 50m freestyle at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio with a 21.79, posted a 21.77 and 21.78 in the semifinals and finals, respectively Sunday night at the 2017 Mare Nostrum in Monaco.
We chatted with Fratus after the session and talked about his meet schedule and preparation heading into World Championships plus what it is like training with Brett Hawke at Auburn University.
