NC State Women Win First ACC Title Since 1980, Break UVA's Nine-Year Streak

It's an all out attack on the record boards tonight, folks. NC State's Alexia Zevnik popped off the fastest time so far in the NCAA this year in the 200 backstroke, Louisville's Mallory Comerford broke her ACC record from this morning, and NC State running away with the 400 Freestyle Relay shaving a second and a half off the previous conference record.

Halfway through the final day of the ACC Championships, we saw North Carolina State rolling out its own red carpet for tonight's session. The Wolfpack's dominating team performances in the 200-yard backstroke and 100 freestyle put an exclamation point on their incredible week, and they already have their sights on NCAAs.

Day 3 Finals of the ACC Championships here in Atlanta, GA where we saw a big upset in the 400 IM, and several occasions where meet records survived by a hair. NC State ended the day with the lead, but not without trading places with UVA and even falling into third at one point in the night.
