RACE VIDEO: Held Pops 18.15 En Route To Wolfpack ACC Title
Ryan Held. The 2016 Olympian is known primarily for shedding a tear or two on the podium after winning gold with Michael Phelps in the 4x100 freestyle relay in Rio. What else is he known for? Absolutely shredding the short course pool with his NC State teammates. Held, who was rocking his best attempt at a beard signaling he was unshaved and not fully tapered, threw down a monster 18.15 split on the anchor leg of NC State's winning relay at the 2017 Mens's ACC Championships. Their time of 1:23.16 was good for a new ACC record and the fastest time in the country this season. Watch out world, the Wolfpack are hungry.
