Monday Motivation: 3 Minutes & 8.24 Seconds Of Pure Adrenaline
It's Monday morning. You are dragging a little bit. First and second cup of coffee didn't do the trick. Third cup hasn't kicked in yet. It's alright, we have you covered.

Instead of rubbing those groggy eyes, wondering how you received 74 emails over the weekend -- relive the most epic race of all-time, the men's 4x100m freestyle relay from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. If this does not get you pumped up for the day, then we don't know what will. As a matter of fact, if this does not get you pumped up -- check your pulse because you might be dead.

Also, for all of you swim nerds out there inevitably asking yourself this question, "I wonder what their splits were..." we have you covered there, too. Enjoy.

Michael Phelps (47.51) -- American Record
Garrett Weber-Gale (47.02)
Cullen Jones (47.65)
Jason Lezak (46.06)
------------------------------
FINAL -- 3:08.24 (World Record, Olympic Record)

A few fun facts: Did you forget Phelps was, at one point, the American Record holder in the 100m freestyle? True story. Did you know that Jason Lezak's 46.06 split is still, almost nine years later, the fastest split of all-time? Also true. Did you know that 3:08.24 is still the World Record? Affirmative.

It's Monday. Get out there and grab it by the horns.
