As you can see above, SwimMAC Carolina was ready for the final day on Sunday, but it was the TAC Titans who made history by winning the meet for the first time. The Titans finished with a combined score of 3,968 points which was about 1,000 points ahead of the runners-up, SwimMac. In third place was the YMCA of the Triangle Area with 1,765.5 points. The Titans also won the girls meet and the boys meet.

The winning team was carried by Colin Cotter who won both the 100 and 200 backstroke and Charlotte Hook who won the 200 and 400 IM. Braeden Haughey, who is only 13, won the high point division for the 13-14 age group with his multiple top five finishes this weekend. The Titan girls won the 800 and 400 freestyle relays and the boys finished top five in all of their relays.

Amanda Ray of New Wave won the high point award for the 13-14 girls. Her dominant weekend included first place finishes in the 1650, 1000, 500, and 200 freestyle events. She was also the champion in both the 200 and 100 butterfly. What a performance.

Other multiple event winners included Eliza Whitmire and Garrett Boone both from the Aquatic Team of Mecklenburg. SwimMac's Tim Connery also had a successful weekend placing top three in a majority of his swims this weekend.

In the 11-12 age group session, Claire Curzan of Raleigh Swimming Association broke three state records including the 50 backstroke, 100 freestyle, and her own 100 butterfly record. The TAC Titans girls relay team made up of Abby Clark, Keelan Cotter, Elena Dry, and Taylor Morris broke the 200 medley relay record by almost two seconds. Matthew Lucky of Sailfish Aquatics placed first in all nine of his individual events.
